So you have been thinking about starting a new business but do not know where or what to start. I recommend that you start with the Internet. Use the Internet to do both your research and to start your business. You have heard about the woman making $3000 a month part-time with an internet business. You have heard about college kids dropping out and making millions by starting an internet business. You, however, have been slow to get started; after all you have a full time job. Where would you find the time to start a business?

Well, I have news for you. You do have the time because it only takes a couple of hours a day to build an Internet business. Now is the perfect time to get started. It is time to make your dreams come true by starting your own business online. Where you are and the clock are no longer limiting factors in getting started. Individuals just like yourself are making money and building their dreams with online businesses. If you like the idea of starting your own business but do not have a clue of what to sell, relax and keep your mind open. There are many different products and services you can offer over the internet. You do not have to worry about things like office space, inventory of goods, and location. An online business can be run from your home, the library, or the local coffee shop. There is no inventory needed and all you need is access to a computer.

You have probably heard the saying “If I can do it, you can do it.” Well you can do it, because the internet levels the playing field so that a novice has just as good as chance at success as the individual with a degree. The keys to success are having a good idea, working smarter not harder, and having self confidence. Now all you need is a plan/blueprint of what to do. A good Internet Wealth Blueprint is a great place to start, so visit the Web sites listed below and take action now!

Goal Achievement – Specific Action Steps to Take You in the Direction of Your Goals

Image : http://www.flickr.com

I know it almost seems too simplistic, but it works.

Focus + Action = Results

FOCUS on your intended outcome, or rather, your GOAL. By focus, I mean, think about your goals constantly. Talk about them to other people until you drive them insane. Before you know it, this focus has you taking ACTION. Now that you have focused and taken action to the point of building a white hot frenzy, your RESULTS will seemingly happen before your eyes. Often times without effort. You may experience a feeling of disappointment because there was no big noise or trumpet sounding upon the attainment of your goal. No parade or dancing girls with flaming batons. It was just another day of focusing on taking action and believing that the desired results would appear… rather boring really. Just another goal attained. (Caution: Add excitement, noise and obnoxious parties at your own risk. You may offend others if you draw too much attention to your own regular goal attainment. Those not experiencing goal attainment tend to focus on the negative limiting factors that will be mentioned below).

Okay, so you feel like this mindset may work for you, and you want some more on the ACTION step in this process.

Attract the Positive, Not the Negative

If your brain “see’s” the mental images, it will work toward making them reality.

Here is a sarcastically humorous, but accurate example… Aim your car at a tree. Go full speed ahead. Stare at the tree. Focus on the tree; notice the detail in the bark, the width of the tree trunk, the green leaves too. Oh, by the way, don’t hit the tree; just focus on it…KaBoom! You goof ball… You weren’t supposed to hit the tree, just focus on it.

I think you get the picture, it works with wealth creation, home based businesses, eating healthy, raising children and everything else in life too. You FOCUS on it, apply the ACTION, and you WILL get RESULTS… for better or worse.

FOCUS on exciting RESULTS that you want to create. Stir up the emotions that motivate you to take the appropriate ACTION that will put you on a collision course with the “tree” of your choice. (My personal suggestion would be to think clearly before you go crash into a real tree.)

Mental Images

FOCUS, stare, look at, or dream of your GOALS. Get pictures of things that make you think about your goals. Tape them on a bathroom mirror, the refrigerator, the front door, even on the wall in front of the toilet if you feel so inclined. This is like “health food for the brain”. Call it a “dream board” if it suits you, but FEED YOUR BRAIN, and do it in the morning, every morning, and throughout the day many times. The picture needs to trigger the emotional attachment to the goal.

Here is a Home Based Business that I focus my energy on, and it has paid off like nothing I have experienced prior. If you have a mindset like you see above, visit http://www.LegitimateBusinessFromHome.net/?GoalAchievement1 for more info about a Legitimate Home Business.

Perfecting Your Public Speaking – How to Create Your New Year’s Action Plan

Image : http://www.flickr.com

In this fresh decade, people are setting resolutions and crafting long lists of goals to only give up on them the following day. Practicing and perfecting your public speaking and communication skills is a long-term commitment, one with excellent pay-offs. Setting and achieving your short and long-term public speaking goals will aid in implementing the positive tips and practices you learn. Each small success will immediately impact your public speaking performance and confidence. Take a quiet moment to follow these steps to create relevant, measurable, achievable goals.

1. Evaluate Your Situation: How do you feel when you speak publicly? What are your fears or reservations about public speaking? When you see a great speaker what do you admire about them?

2. Decide What Areas to Focus On: What would help you feel more comfortable speaking? When you receive feedback from colleagues or mentors what do they say? What areas of making presentations or speaking publically do you have the most challenge with?

3. List All Factors and People Involved: What are the factors involved in making a great presentation ( ex: time, relationship with audience, introduction)? What are the components you need to have a great presentation or feel comfortable speaking? What individuals are involved when you speak publically (ex: the audience, clients, and other presenters)?

Now reviewing your answers you should have a better grasp on what you’d like your outcome. When you begin to list goals to get you there remember to have a measurable component and a plan of action. This could include getting help from mentors, feedback from colleagues or family members or setting a strict schedule. Creating a detailed plan of action and enlisting others to help will keep you accountable and on track.

For a little inspiration to get you kick-started here is a great quote from novelist Haruki Murakami’s inspiring memoir What I Talk About When I Talk About Running.

“My time, the rank I attain, my outward appearance – all of these are secondary. For a runner like me, what’s really important is reaching the goal I set myself, under my own power. I give it everything I have, endure what needs enduring, and am able, in my own way, to be satisfied.”
